KR provides analytical support to our clients enabling them to successfully manage programs, attain key program milestones, and maintain respective products throughout their full life cycles. For acquisition programs this includes support in Demonstration and Validation (DEMVAL), Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD), Production and Deployment, Operations and Support (O&S), the determination of user Operational Requirements (OR), and exploration and definition of operational and logistics concepts.  For those programs whose goals are directed toward new or modified procedures or operational methodology, this includes all the aforementioned phases (excepting EMD) with particular emphasis on ensuring procedures are supportable from training, maintenance, documentation, personnel, facilities, supply (spares and spare/repair parts) and ancillary support equipment perspectives.

KR develops logistics and training requirements (operational and maintenance) from initial operational capability up to, and including, fully material capable status. A network of worldwide contacts and decades of employees' experience in operations and logistics/supply enable KR to also effectively and reliably identify operational, support, maintenance and training deficiencies associated with systems, equipment and procedures previously introduced or placed in service and recommend/implement viable corrective actions.

KR Program Managers and Engineering personnel utilize internally developed and commercial software to design and maintain relational databases capable of integrating the program management, logistic, technical, financial, and historical information required to plan and monitor successful RDT&E and in-service programs.

The KR Team offers Full Life Cycle Program and Acquisition Management, Computer Information Systems Management, Digital Archiving, Video/Multimedia Services, Logistics/Supply Planning, Training, and Engineering and Technical Services support related to Aircrew Life Support Systems/Equipment Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) and In-Service Programs, and Quality Assurance.

We are currently under contract to the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD for program management, engineering, technical and logistics support related to aircrew protection, systems and subsystem-level requirements determination, and trade-off and aircraft compatibility studies including in-service applications. These services are also available to other government agencies through GSA (FSS-871) contract GS-23F-0045L.

KR Systems personnel located at the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia also support NAWCAD Patuxent River by providing technical and acquisition support for new and in-service aviation life support systems and equipment, including Quality Assurance expertise related to First Article and Quality Conformance Testing programs.

KR supports the Naval Air Systems Command, located aboard Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD by providing management, technical, evaluation, analysis, and integrated logistic support services for programs encompassing aircrew life support, special protective, survival and rescue, emergency egress/ejection, parachute and human factors engineering systems. KR program managers, systems engineers, logistics analysts, technicians, and life scientists assist program management personnel with assessment/analysis and documentation services for equipment and systems programs ranging in status from identification of mission need to full in-service support.

KR also plays a major role in the realignment of the Aircrew Systems Program Office (PMA-202), under the NAVAIRSYSCOM Competency Aligned Organization (CAO) concept, by developing charters and transition plans for Integrated Program Teams and assisting respective Team Leaders in the efficient conduct of their programs. KR has recently completed a project at the Night Vision/Electro-Optics section of the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Crane, IN to provide technical and logistics support for the development of Engineering Change Proposals for the Rotary Wing AN/AVS-9 Night Vision Goggle program.
